Suzy's Socks: Knit Basic Socks from the Cuff Down



Warm your toes with this class! Learn about the parts of a sock and the skills needed to make a perfectly fitted sock from cuff to toe. You'll learn techniques that apply to knitting of all types - including sweaters, gloves, even hats and shawls! Plus, handknit socks are more comfortable than any sock in any store!

Supplies: 100 grams of fingering (#1),  dk (#3) or worsted (#4) weight wool or wool-blend yarn (or non-wool with good elasticity if you're allergic).  Size 0-2 (for fingering),  2-4 (for DK) , or 7-9 (for worsted) double-pointed needles (DPNs), darning needle, scissors, measuring tape.

Prerequisites: For knitters with good basic knitting skills. You must be able to cast on, bind off, knit, and purl without assistance.
