Learn how to create stunning stitch guides with decorative stitches like mosaic, scotch, and corduroy, plus tips for troubleshooting common stitching issues. (Make sure you’ve completed Needlepoint 101 or have a basic knowledge of stitching before joining!)
What this class will cover:
- Learn how to make a stitch guide using essential decorative stitches like mosaic, scotch, and corduroy.
- When is it best to use a decorative stitch versus a tent stitch.
- Common problems that can arise when stitching and how to fix them (missing stitches, loose stitches, miscounting stitches, etc.)
Recommended Supplies for Needlepoint 102:
Simple, painted canvas, such as 10ct or 18ct Poppy Monk, thread, tapestry needles, stretcher bars, tacks. If you have a canvas but need help with choosing thread, Emily will help you choose during class.
