Intermediate Knitting With Denise
The Beginners'Cowl is used in this class and is a free pattern on Ravelry and a printed copy will also be provided by the instructor in class. The pattern provides practice in basic knitting stitches, yet creates a lovely result in a fabulous knitted cowl. The pattern is offered in three sizes: small (forming a snug circle around the neck); medium (forming a loose, soft drape around the neck); and large (forming a longer cowl that can be wound twice around the neck or hang low as a scarf).

| Requirements: | Supplies: DK or Worsted Weight Yarn Small - Approx. 125 yds Medium - Approx. 190 yards Large - Approx. 250 yards US 7 or 8 - 24” circular needles* (circumference must be exact) Stitch Markers - One distinct marker for the beginning of the round and 10 to 12 markers to use as desired. Yarn Suggestions: Malabrigo Rios or Arroyo - hand dyed tonal with fabulous drape; Heritage 6 - soft drape in great solid colors (rep your favorite team); Lumi - cotton with a beautiful drape and soft metallic sheen to add a pop to your favorite outfit - even just over a tee.
