Knitting: Basic Top-Down Beanie
Tired of hats falling down over your eyes? In this class, you’ll learn to start a hat from the top with an i-cord (with an optional hanging loop), and work in any gauge to make a hat that will fit anyone in the family - exactly the way they like it. You’ll also learn to work with double-pointed needles and a VERY stretchy way to bind off!
No gauge swatch needed!
Cost: $18 plus supplies. Includes free pattern.
Supplies: One 100 g ball of Worsted or Bulky yarn (preferably wool or wool blend), 16″ circular needles and double-pointed needles in the size the yarn calls for, stitch markers, darning needle, scissors
Prerequisites: Cast on, knit, purl, cast off, increase. Please bring a swatch with 20 stitches of K2, P2 rib to class.
