KALPapillon: KAL Papillon
Join Yarnivore’s Papillon Knit-A-Long (KAL)!
Papillon is an eye-catching mix of garter stitch and short-rows, using a solid and a multi-colored yarn like Urth’s Uneek (fingering). We think it’s addictingly gorgeous!
What’s a “KAL”?
Typically pronounced just like the word sounds, KALs are a great way to practice skills while the KAL leader guides knitters through a pattern. KALs are also a great way to get to know fellow knitters as they tend to be more social than normal classes (and are priced accordingly!).
Meet Ups: KAL Leader Beate will hold weekly sessions for KAL participants, including either a weekday or weekend option. The Papillon KAL is currently scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1-3p beginning April 7th (Beate might renegotiate meet up times depending upon student interest).
KAL participants can sign up for either Wednesday or Sunday sessions in-store or online. (Note: Yarnivore will be closed for Easter Sunday and Mother’s Day so the KAL meet ups will skip those weeks. See calendar for confirmation of dates & times!)
KAL fee: $45.00 (price includes weekly meet-ups and pattern; pattern must be purchased from Yarnivore).
Supplies (10% off for class supplies if obtained through Yarnivore):
2 skeins of Urth Uneek Fingering + 1 skein of a contrast solid fingering
