Weaving - Tapestry Sampler
Bring your warped tapestry loom (or come in a bit early to warp a rental loom), and we'll walk you through various tapestry weaving techniques. Don't worry about what yarn to warp with, you won't be able to see it after you've finished weaving. You can use rug warp or any fingering yarn.
Prerequisites: Beginning tapestry weaving (able to warp and work in stripes/change colors while weaving).
Materials/tools: Tapestry loom (e.g., Schacht 18" or 25" tapestry or Lilli loom). Student looms available to rent for $13/week. Rental fee applicable to any loom purchase within 30 days of rental. Single ply weft yarn ideal (e.g., Lamb's Pride Worsted or Bulky, Tamatz).
