Details: Naumann's Angoras will be at Yarnivore on September 14th, at 1pm.
You might have worked with mohair yarn, but do you know how it gets from ranch-to-yarn? Mohair comes from Angora goats and Texas is the largest mohair-producing region in the United States. Dale and Bonnie Naumann are sixth-generation Angora Goat Ranchers in Bandera County, TX. In addition to raising and showing Angora goats, they also judge Angora shows, and solar-dye their goats' locks, which they sell at fiber events.

Bonnie & Dale will demonstrate processing mohair from raw to roving at 1pm. The free demonstration will run for about an hour and then Bonnie & Dale will be available for questions and sales for another hour or so. Don't miss their informative and entertaining presentation or this unique chance to purchase local grown fiber! Make sure to get to the store early as we expect standing room only!
