Jumbo Fur YarnsKnitted Magic Yarn Happy Face

We like big balls...of yarn!

While the weather can't decide if it wants to be cold (evenings) or warm (afternoons), we know cooler weather is coming. This means it's that time of year when we want to play with big balls of yarn, right? Jumbo fuzzy yarns are great for making up quick projects and we've been stocking up.

Check out Premier's Snow Cone, a plush, frosted-look chenille. There's also Premier's Bunny, an impossibly soft and fluffy polyester yarn that works well on its own or as trim on hats, sweaters, or cowls. If you want to go off-hook, there's Lion Brand's Off the Hook Solid, Faux Fur, and Magic yarns. These looped jumbo yarns mean that you can quickly work up a scarf, hat, or blanket without needles or hooks. The Magic yarn is especially fun, since it makes a pattern all by itself - the emoji picture above just happens! It also comes in other fun patterns.

Be well, be safe, be kind!

Featured Pattern
Here's a super easy pattern that uses JUMBO yarn (or you can use 2 strands of bulky yarn together) and will help organize your pins. You can also use it to store knitting needles, shawl pins, or anything else you can stick through knitted fabric. Best of all - it's FREE! The Simple Shibori Knit Pin Banner should knit up in a day, maybe two. Try a fuzzy yarn like Premier Bunny for a cushy soft look!

The Tip Jar

This is for the weavers:
Store string heddles for different looms using EZ-Bobs bobbins or other yarn bobbins! That way you don't have to keep making up new heddles or risk getting them in an almighty tangle.

All classes are currently on hold, due to the San Antonio & Bexar County joint Stay Home/Work Safe order.
