Happy Fathers Day!
We hope your Dad's day is a good one

We'll be closed this Sunday so we can spend time with the dads and father figures in our lives. We'll be back Monday to help you with your fiber crafting needs!

Be safe, be well, be kind!

We could all use a cool breeze right about now!

Escape to your own private island and feel the tropical breeze with Pima Colada, a 75% pima cotton, 25% lyocell blend available in sunny colors like Peach, Iris, Seafoam and Pearl. This aran weight cotton and lyocell blend is soft to the touch and slinky to knit with; the chainette construction blends alternating rounds of the two fibers for subtly marled effect with a slight sheen. Pima Colada is absolutely perfect for warm season knits, its drape and cool hand will create beautiful summer cardigans, shawls or tee shirts.

We like Season by Chiaki Hayashi (knit, $6 in-store/Rav - Rav link), a summer weight tank top. There's also Lorraine's Lace 2.0 by Oliphant Kat (shown at right, knit, $9.99 in-store/Rav - Rav link), a simple tee with a lace insert at the back neck. Diagonals for Days C2C Tee by ChiWei Ranck (crochet, $8 in-store/Rav - Rav link OR designer's Etsy shop - Etsy link) makes it easy to incorporate diagonal striping into your garment. (You can also use a single color on this one!)

Private Lessons
In-store and online private lessons are available! Please call us at 210-979-8255 to schedule a lesson! Wendy, Dawn, Moses, and Nancy M. are all available to help you with your projects! Private Lessons can be scheduled outside of regular hours at the discretion of the teacher.

The Tip Jar

If you've gotten yourself a magnetic wrist holder for stitch markers or a magnetic needle keeper for needlepoint or embroidery, you should know that it's great for more than just needlecrafts! Here are some "attractive" options:

Next time you're hanging a picture, put the nail and hanger on your wrist magnet! If you're putting together flatpack furniture, stick your needle keeper on your shirt and stick screws to it! Doing your hair? Put hairpins on your personal magnet!

All regular classes are currently on hold until we can safely seat up to 6 students in the classroom. We'll let y'all know when we can offer them again. Until then, we're offering most of our class material in private lessons.
