Ever Get Overwhelmed?
Us too! We have so much in common!

Sometimes life can be too much. That was the case this week. Dealing with health issues, financial crises, family drama, and all the other things that come up in life can leave us floundering. It shatters our fragile peace and shakes up our lives.

At times like that, it's so nice to have our crafting to turn to. As you may have guessed, it's been that sort of week for some of our staff, so this week's newsletter is just a reminder that we all get stressed sometimes, that it's okay, and that we're here to listen. We can't fix your relationships or balance your checkbook, but if you drop a stitch, we will get it back for you!

Be safe, be well, be kind!

-Caryn & the Yarnivore crew

It's so easy to get caught up in the fancy yarns - multicolors, fancy textures, luxurious fibers - that we forget about the workhorse yarns! This week, we'd like to tell you about Wendy's FAVORITE yarn - Plymouth Galway. This is a truly basic yarn. Worsted weight 100% handwash-only wool in solid colors and a few heathers, Galway (and it's near-twin Cascade 220) is the best yarn for learning new techniques, and for just basic, easy crafting.
Speaking of easy crafting, our featured pattern is perfect for Galway! Wendy would like you to have a FREE copy of her Basic Worsted-weight Knitted Beanie pattern!

Hours - We’re open 7 days a week!

Private Lessons
In-store and online private lessons are available! Please call us at 210-979-8255 to schedule a lesson! Wendy, Dawn, Moses, and Nancy M. are all available to help you with your projects! Private Lessons can be scheduled outside of regular hours at the discretion of the teacher.

The Tip Jar

Count out loud! Seriously! We lose our place when counting stitches all the time. It's okay to count aloud so that you don't lose count. Even muttering under your breath works. Bonus points if it makes people look at you funny.

All regular classes are currently on hold until we can safely seat up to 6 students in the classroom. We'll let y'all know when we can offer them again. Until then, we're offering most of our class material in private lessons.
