Don't Run, Don't Walk - CRAWL!
It's time to Crawl, y'all!

This year's Hill Country yarn crawl (aka the Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas) starts this Friday, October 8!

This year, we're doing things a little differently - there are no passports and no purchase required to join in the fun! Stores will have a featured yarn (15% off) and a limited supply of souvenir project bags (free with a purchase of $75 or more, get em while we got em!). Stores will also have trunks shows and the new fall yarns.

Store hours & safety requirements will vary by store; be sure to check out the details in the store guide before you hit the road!

Chaos Fiber Trunk Show is here Friday-Sunday!

Chaos Fiber makes fabulous local hand-dyed yarn and project bags. Becky (the artist behind Chaos Fiber) will be at Yarnivore Friday-Sunday (10/8-10) as we celebrate another Crawl! Come see her latest colorways and project ideas, she always has something new to show us!

Featured Pattern & Yarn
It's officially spooky season! To celebrate, we thought you'd like this adorable Spooky Hat by RosiePosieKnitCo! It's only $5 in-store or on the designer's website. Any worsted weight yarn will work, but we suggest an off-black in Plymouth Galway, Encore Worsted, or Malabrigo Rios for the background. The other sections you may be able to use for stash busting!

Featured Tool
It's always good to keep notes on your projects, but finding notepads that won't turn into a wreck in your bag is a challenge! The Wellspring Flip Notes solve that problem. Private Lessons
In-store and online private lessons are available! Please call us at 210-979-8255 to schedule a lesson! Wendy, Dawn, Moses, and Nancy M. are all available to help you with your projects! Private Lessons can be scheduled outside of regular hours at the discretion of the teacher.

The Tip Jar

Don't strain your eyes! The days are getting shorter and that means that JUST when we're starting to make cute witch's hats and other spooky stuff, we don't have enough light to work with black yarn anymore. The solution? Switch to off-black, aka really dark grey. Even better if it's heathered or tonal, since that gives your eyes even more to work with. If you really must use true black, please invest in a good lamp!

All regular classes are currently on hold until we can safely seat up to 6 students in the classroom. We'll let y'all know when we can offer them again. Until then, we're offering most of our class material in private lessons.
