We feel Lucky!
Gifty, Gifty, Super Nifty! We've got a few gadgety gift ideas that fit a variety of budgets.
Needle and hook sets are on every crafter's list. Choose from Knitter's Pride Self Love (see photo), ChiaoGoo Twist Shorties, Mini, and Complete, Hiyahiya Sharp Large and Small. Crocheters will love the Addi Colours, Knitter's Pride Dreamz, Boye Ergonomic or Susan Bates Silvalume Crochet Hook Sets.
Looking for cool tools? We like the stainless steel Knitting Needle Sizer (gauge) Necklace. Or, how about a Stowaway Cuff, a clean, minimalist, solid stainless steel cuff that attracts and holds steel items, like metal stitch markers, sewing needles and pins. Cocoknits' Maker's Keep looks like a certain watch but holds steel items, including Cocoknits' Row Counter. We also have the mother of all magnets for storing your metal bits, the Zirkel Magnetic Organizer.
Also, we still have 1 (!!) Hedgehog Fibre Advent Calendar and a few Madeline Tosh 12 Days kits. Hedgehog's kit includes 23 minis (20g skeins) and a surprise on the 24th. MadTosh's kit includes 12 skeins in a bunch of new colors, gadgets and 2 patterns. Both contain a variety of mini skeins from these lovely dyers.
Not sure what to get? Wrap up a gift certificate in a cute Triangle Pouch from Slipped Stitch Studios, a Blue Q Coin Purse, Pencil Case, or a fun ZipIt Pouch.

Get Lucky with a super sized ball of bulky yarn that makes a coordinating hat and scarf! This massive cake of yarn is made of 90% Wool and 10% Nylon and has 520 yards in a 240g cake. We've written a simple Chevron scarf pattern and paired it with Amy Havel's Love the Cold Hat. Both patterns are free in-store. You can also get the hat pattern on Ravelry.

The Tip Jar
Hand winding yarn doesn't have to be a headache! Put the opened skein over the back of a chair. Remove the choke ties (those little bits of yarn that are tied around the skein, you can untie or cut them). Then stand over the chair and start winding your ball by hand, making sure not to pull from the side. The chair back will keep the skein from tangling. You can even put down your winding for a bit if you put the partial ball into a bowl on the table and don't disturb the yarn on the chair.
All regular classes are currently on hold until we can safely seat up to 6 students in the classroom. We'll let y'all know when we can offer them again. Until then, we're offering most of our class material in private lessons.
