Nifty Gifts!

Gifty, Gifty, Super Nifty! We've got a few gadgety gift ideas that fit a variety of budgets.

Featured Pattern & Yarn
Get Lucky with a super sized ball of bulky yarn that makes a coordinating hat and scarf! This massive cake of yarn is made of 90% Wool and 10% Nylon and has 520 yards in a 240g cake. We've written a simple Chevron scarf pattern and paired it with Amy Havel's Love the Cold Hat. Both patterns are free in-store. You can also get the hat pattern on Ravelry.

Private Lessons
In-store and online private lessons are available! Please call 210-979-8255 to schedule a lesson! Wendy, Dawn, Moses, and Nancy M. are all available to help you with your projects! Private Lessons can be scheduled outside of regular hours at the discretion of the teacher.

The Tip Jar

Hand winding yarn doesn't have to be a headache! Put the opened skein over the back of a chair. Remove the choke ties (those little bits of yarn that are tied around the skein, you can untie or cut them). Then stand over the chair and start winding your ball by hand, making sure not to pull from the side. The chair back will keep the skein from tangling. You can even put down your winding for a bit if you put the partial ball into a bowl on the table and don't disturb the yarn on the chair.

All regular classes are currently on hold until we can safely seat up to 6 students in the classroom. We'll let y'all know when we can offer them again. Until then, we're offering most of our class material in private lessons.
