Yarn Crawl is Coming!
Friday, Oct 7 through Sunday the 16th!
The 16th Annual Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas is almost upon us! Are you ready? We're trying to get everything ready for you!
This year's yarn crawl has a few changes that we think you'll like:
-No passports! Instead, there's a free Bingo card to stamp for prizes.
-Each shop has an entire BRAND of yarn at 15% off, with EVERY yarn in that brand discounted! We can't tell you what ours is yet, but we can tell you that it's a Texas brand.
We have very special Yarn Crawl trunk shows:
Zorn Junction is coming a week ahead of Crawl to whet your appetite. They have amazing and unique yarns unlike anyone else's. They'll be here Saturday, October 1 from 11 am-4 pm.
Chaos Fibers will be here the first actual Crawl weekend, Friday-Sunday, with all their gorgeous hand-dyed yarns and amazing project bags!
As always, Yarnivore will have a daily door prize, and souvenir project bags (they're free with $75 purchase, as long as supplies last).

Knitting Workshop with Wendy - 2 seats available

Featured Yarn and Pattern
Are you a new knitter looking to practice knit/purl stitch patterns? This FREE cowl pattern, the Sampler Stitch Beginner Cowl by Gretchen Fancher (Ravelry link), is a great way to firm up those skills and learn some cool stitch patterns like "Mistake Stitch Rib" and "Pennant Stitch."
Use a solid colored bulky yarn like 220 Superwash Grande or Vintage Chunky for a cowl that will knit up in no time!

Private Lessons
In-store and online private lessons are available! Please call 210-979-8255 to schedule a lesson! Wendy, Dawn, Moses, and Nancy are all available to help you with your projects! Private Lessons can also be scheduled outside of regular hours at the discretion of the teacher.
The Tip Jar
If your spring-loaded measuring tape breaks, don't throw it out! Just cut the measuring tape off to use on its own.
Put one on a hook near your yarn stash so that you don't have to dig in your project bags for the "good" measuring tape.
