Zorn Junction will be at Yarnivore this Saturday, October 1 from 11 am-4 pm. There will be a doorprize drawing, so you'll definitely want to stop by and fill out an entry!
Zorn has amazing and unique yarns unlike anyone else's. What makes them so special? It's the alpacas! Carolyn isn't just a dyer, but also raises fiber animals. Hand-dyed alpaca is so beautiful! And they don't stop there - there are sock, DK, and worsted weight yarns, all in beautiful colors, with some really cool pattern ideas, too. She may even have some handspun with her.

Chaos Fibers will be here the first weekend of Crawl, Friday-Sunday, with all their gorgeous hand-dyed yarns and amazing project bags!
As always, Yarnivore will have a daily door prize, and souvenir project bags (they're free with $75 purchase, as long as supplies last).

Featured Yarn and Pattern
Good basic patterns are worth their weight in gold, so if you find one for free, it's a huge win! Brick by Clare Lee (Ravelry link) is a basic knitted top-down raglan sweater with a scoop neck. It hasn't got any bells or whistles, just a basic top down standard raglan, but it's well-written and has options for a straight or tapered sleeves and a straight or shaped body.

While you can absolutely make this one with a standard basic yarn like Cascade 220 or Plymouth Encore, it would also show off a self-striping yarn like Berroco Sesame really well.

The BEST way to keep track of what row you're on if your brain doesn't like any of the other methods:
Attach a sticky note to your pattern. Right before you start a row, write the row number down. When you finish the row, cross it off. Repeat for each row. Don't write a row down unless you're starting it. Don't cross it off until it's done.
