Happy Crawl, Y'all!
Gas up! Yarn Crawl starts this Friday!
Are y'all ready for the 16th annual Hill Country Yarn Crawl, aka the Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas?
Get ready to visit all the fabulousness of local yarn stores! This year's events include:
-15% off each store's featured yarn brand! (Yep, you read that right, not just one yarn, all the yarns in that brand! We'll announce our brand on October 7th.)
-BINGO cards! Get stamped for visiting each store! (Make sure you print your BINGO card before you leave home.)
-Scavenger hunts! Get another BINGO stamp when you answer 1 scavenger hunt question at each store
-Trunk Shows! Chaos Fiber will be at Yarnivore the first weekend - we love a little chaos!
-Souvenir bag with $75 purchase (while supplies last)!
For BINGO cards and a list of participating stores, go to The Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas website.
Featured Yarn and Pattern
We have the softest amigurumi yarn you've ever touched!
What's amigurumi? It's just a fancy way to say small stuffed toys. They're usually crocheted with cotton yarns and stuffed really firmly so that they stand up. But with Happy Chenille yarn from Sirdar, you may not want to put them down that long. Make your own cute avocado with their Fruit & Veg crochet patterns (includes an avocado, eggplant, cherries, watermelon, and mushroom), or one of their other Happy Chenille Amigurumi patterns! Patterns are available in booklet online or in-store, or as digital files in-store, on Ravelry, or on Sirdar.com.
Hours this week
11-5 Friday & Saturday
Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas - October 7-16
Chaos Yarns Trunk Show - October 7-9
In-store and online private lessons are available! Please call 210-979-8255 to schedule a lesson! Wendy, Dawn, Moses, and Nancy are all available to help you with your projects! Private Lessons can also be scheduled outside of regular hours at the discretion of the teacher.
The Tip Jar
If you've lost the tightening key for your interchangeable knitting needles or Tunisian crochet set, there's no need to worry. Just open up a paperclip and use that instead. Easy peasy!
(But DO tighten them - uncovered screw ends can snag and fray your yarn)
