It's a Party, a Yarn Party!
Well, that's kind of every day for us, isn't it? LOL.
Yes, we're having a yarn party... AGAIN! We wanted to give you a preview of what we'll be doing on Saturday, LYS day (Local Yarn Shop day, 4/27). In addition to yarn tasting and hosting San Antonio indie dyer Bad Frog Yarn, we'll be demonstrating a variety of crochet, knit, and finishing skills, from basic to advanced! We have a list of skills that we thought y'all would like, but you can challenge us for a small donation to a good cause!
What's the cause? Y'all know that we share your donated yarn and tools with teachers, libraries, churches and nonprofits. However, we often discount or donate products from our inventory, too, so a small donation will help us provide more of these supplies. Plus, we'll put our money where our mouths are: If you can stump us, we'll give you a Yarnivore gift card for the amount of your donation, up to $5 per entry!
Finally, it's not a party without party favors, right? We'll have several drawings (no purchase needed) for yarn and tools. We hope to see y'all Saturday!

Featured Tool, Coco Knits Fuzz Off Comb
Even the most well-cared for project can pill and it can be soooo frustrating! We recommend the Cocoknits Fuzz Off Comb (only partially because of the name). It looks a bit like an old fashioned straight razor, but it has a special comb that removes pills from your favorite sweater, blanket or even store bought clothes (Caryn's used it on her favorite soft sweatshirt, and it works like a charm!).
