Katrinkles Ornament KIT Mitten

These adorable mitten ornaments will add some knitting inspired flair to your Christmas Tree!  Mitten ornaments make a great handmade gift and can even be used as gift tags.  Gift one to a crafty friend or keep it for yourself.  The holes in each ornament are left unstitched so you can embroider the color work details using a needle and yarn or embroidery floss. The possibilities for how to adorn your pair of mittens are limitless.  

There are three styles of mittens. Choose between the Striped, Arrow/Heart design, or Colorwork. Each style is available both as Ornament Blanks and as an Ornament Kit.  

The Mitten Ornament Kit includes:

• 2 unstitched Mitten Ornament blanks

• 2 7" lengths of cotton cord to use for hanging your ornaments

• a size 24 tapestry needle

• 6 colors of embroidery floss (with a total of 12 yards of thread)

• Felt backing to hide your stitches    

When writing on your Mittens, Ultra Fine Point Sharpie markers or Micron markers work great.  Thicker Sharpies or other non-permanent markers may feather or bleed on the grain of the wood.  (Markers are not included).
