This yarn is named for fair isle knitting, which is a fancy colorwork style. EYB's Fair Isle yarn mimics fair isle stitch work, making it a "faux fair isle" yarn.
Fiber: 75% Wool / 25% Nylon-Polyamide
Weight: EYB says Aran, which means heavy worsted - 4 or light bulky - 5
Yards: 246 yards in 150g cake (no winding needed!)
Gauge: 16-20 st/4" on US 7-9 (4.5-5.5mm) needles or US I (5.5mm) hook
Machine washable, lay flat to dry
