Cumulus

A heavy lace/3 ply weight yarn. This super soft yarn has a glistening silk core with a gentle halo of supersoft alpaca like soft pillowy clouds hence the name Cumulus. Cumulus is a delight to knit with, an alternative to mohair, the combination of the delicate alpaca halo and the smooth silk core creates the softest knits with a beautiful drape and a delicate haze without being itchy. 

Fiber: 74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk
Weight: Lace - 0 to Fingering - 1 (Yarns that have Alpaca in them usually have a halo, aka fuzzy stuff, which means we work them up on hooks or needles that are larger than the weight normally calls for.)
Yards: 164 yards (150m) per 25g ball

Crochet Gauge: Not provided by manufacturer. See Craft Yarn Council Standard Yarn Weight guidelines for suggested gauge.
Knit Gauge: 24 sts/4" on US 2-3 (2.75mm-3.25mm)

Care: Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Yarnivore does not recommend hard blocking (stretched and pinned). A light blocking will allow the halo to bloom perfectly!
