Katrinkles Ornament KIT Mitten

These adorable mitten ornaments will add some knitting inspired flair to your Christmas Tree! Mitten ornaments make a great handmade gift and can even be used as gift tags. Gift one to a crafty friend or keep it for yourself. The holes in each ornament are left unstitched so you can embroider the color work details using a needle and yarn or embroidery floss. The possibilities for how to adorn your pair of mittens are limitless.

There are three styles of mittens. Choose between the Striped, Arrow/Heart design, or Colorwork. Each style is available both as Ornament Blanks and as an Ornament Kit.

The Mitten Ornament Kit includes:

2 unstitched Mitten Ornament blanks
2 7" lengths of cotton cord to use for hanging your ornaments
a size 24 tapestry needle
6 colors of embroidery floss (with a total of 12 yards of thread)
Felt backing to hide your stitches

When writing on your Mittens, Ultra Fine Point Sharpie markers or Micron markers work great. Thicker Sharpies or other non-permanent markers may feather or bleed on the grain of the wood. (Markers are not included).
